Principal's Welcome

Welcome to our newly designed and updated web site. We hope the information provided here gives you a small taste of what Crenshaw Middle School is all about.  Crenshaw Middle School has always enjoyed an excellent reputation in our community and throughout the state of Ohio since it opened in 1972.  In spite of the many changes we have faced recently, I feel very strongly that we have not compromised in the slightest our emphasis on academics and high standards with regard to discipline and behavior.  In addition, this year we have put in place a school wide plan which emphasizes technology, first rate lesson design, and a school motto "BRAVO", which stands for _B_uilding _R_elationships through _A_ctions which _V_alue _O_thers.  Our three teaching teams meet regularly to plan/provide quality instruction and meet the educational, social, and emotional needs of our students and their families.  Our exploratory programs (Art, Instrumental Music, Vocal Music, Physical Education, and Interscholastic Athletics) provide ample opportunity for our students to excel beyond the realm of "book learning".  And, we continue to offer a wide variety of after school programs essentially free of charge for our students.  I extend to you all an invitation to come into our building, visit, and get a chance to see first hand what Crenshaw Middle School is all about.  Feel free to contact me at any time either by phone (330-454-7717) or by email (rehfus_e@ccsdistrict.org).  Thank you for taking the time to browse our website.
